About Camp

Camp Tekawitha Retreat & Conference Center is a nationally accredited Catholic summer camp for youth ages 7-14 located on Loon Lake in Shawano County.

Since 1926 Camp Tekawitha has provided a positive, Catholic summer experience for thousands of youth by integrating Catholic Christian ideals into daily camp life.

Activities include water and land sports, crafts, dramatics, arts and crafts, and religious training in our Catholic including Mass or Liturgy of the Word with Communion every Wednesday in our environmentally friendly chapel.

Camp, retreat and conference operations and facilities advance the interests of the Roman Catholic Church in accord with and in support of the mission of the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay and other Diocesan entities under the guidance of the Bishop consistent with Church teachings and the Code of Canon Law as interpreted by the Bishop.
