Work Continues on Process to Develop Long-range Plan for Schools in the Diocese
Bishop David Ricken will approve and promulgate a long-range, strategic plan for Catholic Schools on March 30, 2012. The plan will be on the Diocesan Web site (CLICK HERE) in April.
The Diocesan Department of Education's Catholic School Initiative Project was initiated from an April 13, 2010, meeting where all pastors/parish directors and system/school administrators were invited to primarily look closely at fostering Catholic schools and the challenges facing the schools and parishes.Bishop Ricken, Dr. Joseph Bound, Director of Education, and Frank Donaldson of the Institute of School and Parish Development (ISPD) are guiding and overseeing the planning process.
