Diocese Receives Final Notification on Radetski Case

Diocese of Green Bay LogoGREEN BAY, Wis. (Sept. 23, 2017) -- Bishop David L. Ricken received notification from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) at the Vatican that Father Paul J. Radetski has been found not guilty of sexual abuse of a minor. Father has been granted senior priest status, and his restrictions from exercising public priestly ministry have been lifted. He will serve the diocese in a limited capacity in his senior priest status.

St. Francis Xavier Cathedral to Close for Renovations September through November

Diocese of Green Bay LogoGREEN BAY, Wis. (Aug. 22, 2017) -- St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay, Wisconsin, will be closed September 2017 through November 2017 for renovations. The last Mass will be Sunday, September 3rd at 9:00 a.m., and doors will close immediately after Mass. The first Mass after renovations is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd at 4:00 p.m. Bishop Ricken will celebrate Mass on Sunday, December 3rd at 9:00 a.m. for the reopening blessing.

Diocesan-wide Diaper Drive Assists Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Parenting Programs

(Sept. 26, 2017) -- During the month of October, Catholic Charities and the Diocesan Office of Marriage, Family Life, and Pro-Life will be collecting diapers for the third annual Diocesan-wide Diaper Drive. Diapers and baby wipes can be dropped off at Catholic Charities locations in Green Bay and Appleton, as well as at several crisis pregnancy centers across northeast Wisconsin.

Second Shipping Container to Collect Supplies for the Dominican Republic and Haiti

Packers Partner with Catholic Charities for 57th Annual Bishop's Charities Game
