Pastoral Ministry/Care Ministry

Lay Pastoral Care is a personal response to God's unconditional love. The lay pastoral minister actively brings the love of God into people's lives by providing supportive care to those who face crises, trauma, loss, or personal dilemmas. Our goal is to prepare parish volunteers and professionals through educational programming and to empower people through training, consultation, education, advocacy, and at times, direct service.

We will gladly help your parish develop Lay Pastoral Care Ministries to address the needs of suffering or alienated members of your parish. We provide support, consultation, and training in several areas of Pastoral Care Ministry.

Building a Foundation of Mercy Journal

Building a Foundation of MercyForty-day resource using quotes from Pope Francis' "Miserere Vultus" and reflections from the Stewardship & Pastoral Services staff using journaling to help readers move from reflecting on mercy to forming a habit of mercy, and ultimately, to continual deepening of the foundational characteristic of mercy. Through mercy, may we be drawn together to experience the Kingdom of God.
