Who's Who at the Department of Education?


Debbie LinnaneDebbie Linnane, Office Manager | Administrative Assistant: Debbie's main responsibilities include providing administrative assistant services to Dr. Bound, Director of Education, and assisting in the workflow of secretarial services for the education team. She also offers secretarial assistance in preparation of materials for the Diocesan Board of Education.


Todd BlahnikTodd Blahnik, Superintendent of Catholic Schools: Todd has an MA in Private School Administration, from the Institute for Catholic Educational Leadership at the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Norbert College with a minor in Secondary Education. He has served as a High School Principal, Middle School Principal, and Elementary School Principal. Most recently Todd was the Director of Catholic Educational Services for the St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System in Appleton. Todd is responsible for serving as the Diocesan point person for Meitler Consulting as they assist the Diocese in developing a long range strategic plan for Catholic Schools, Athletics, Crisis management, and Government Programs.

Jane Schueller Jane Schueller, Associate Superintendent of Instruction and Academic Accountability: Jane has been an elementary school teacher, St. Norbert College women's soccer coach, and principal of Resurrection Catholic School in Green Bay before coming to the Department of Education. She has a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with an emphasis on elementary education from St. Norbert College. She is earning a Doctorate in Education from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Jane is responsible forAll-Schools Mass, Dept. of Education website, guidance questions, PD 360 Program, standards, benchmarks, curriculum (secular subjects), Supportive Consultants Program, and teachers in-service.

Sister Kay KlacknerSr. Kay Klackner, Consultant: Sr. Kay has an MA in Catholic school leadership/administration from Boston College, and Ed.D. in Catholic school leadership from the University of San Francisco. She has been an elementary teacher in the Diocese of Green Bay and in Arizona and Ohio; a school administrator in the Diocese and in Michigan; and associate professor/director of teacher education at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family, Manitowoc. She is responsible for accreditation (schools), Initial Educators Program, licensing questions, PDP's (Profession Development Plans), principals in-service, and Prospective Principals Program.

Lisa FranclLisa Francl, Administrative Assistant, Catholic Schools: Lisa serves as the administrative assistant to Sr. Kay Klackner and Jane Schueller in the Catholic Schools Division. She provides secretarial support for leadership days, initial educator training, mentor and supportive consultant training. Other duties include placing and processing school orders. Lisa works with SEVIS, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program for our international exchange students, to obtain proper documents to study at our diocesan schools.


Maximus Clive CabeyMaximus Clive Cabey, Children & Youth Faith Formation Director: Maximus has a bachelor's degree in theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and a master of divinity degree from St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in Crestwood, Yonkers, NY. Maximus has experience teaching Catholic high school religion in advanced placement psychology, and as a youth and young adult minister. He has more than 28 years of ministry experience and 12 years of experience in the business world. Maximus has a passion for PK-12 catechesis and evangelization, and a deep desire for Christian unity.

Carol FountainCarol Fountain, Administrative Assistant (part-time), Religious Education/Youth Ministry: Carol's responsibilities at the Department of Education are varied; she assists all directors and support staff as needed and is responsible for publishing the Department of Education newsletter. Prior to this assignment, she worked on the Faith Alive Schools initiative within the Department.

Sheila ReSheila Re, Administrative Assistant (part-time), Religious Education/Youth Ministry: Sheila serves part-time as the administrative assistant to Maria DeMeuse and Maximus Clive Cabey in the Religious Education/Youth Ministry Division.

Tim CollinsTim Collins, Love Begins Here Intern: Tim, a student at UW-Fox Valley, was born and raised in San Diego. He came to Wisconsin to serve as a missionary with Catholic Youth Expeditions, and consequently fell in love with the area. He coordinates Love Begins Here, an apostolate that provides an opportunity for high schoolers and middle schoolers to encounter our Lord through prayer, fun, and especially by serving others in the local community with love. "It is truly an honor to be living out my passion of helping our youth grow closer to God in this beautiful Diocese," Tim says.


Rebecca Sievers Rebecca Sievers, Director of Camp Tekakwitha: Rebecca holds a master's in student affairs administration in higher education from Ball State University and a bachelor's in communication from St. Norbert College. She is a volunteer firefighter with the Village of Kimberly. Rebecca comes to us from UW-Green Bay where she served as director of summer camps and conferences and before that was coordinator of leadership and service at the University of Iowa. Rebecca is no stranger to Camp Tekakwitha -- she was a camper there for 10 summers as a child and worked as a counselor for four. Summer camps have had the single greatest impact on her personal growth and development to date and she is humbled to serve the Church through the ministry of camp. She enjoys cheering on the Packers and Badgers, hanging out with her family (especially her nine nieces and nephews), and running, CrossFit, spending time the family cottage in the northwoods, leading retreats, and volunteering. Her favorite saints are Kateri Tekakwitha, Padre Pio, Dominic Savio and Mother Teresa.

McKenna Rohan McKenna Rohan, Associate Camp Director: McKenna, a native of Greenleaf and oldest of four children, has a degree in youth ministry and nonprofit servant leadership from Marian University. While at Marian, she was involved in the Fond du Lac community through mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters, teaching middle school religious education, and engaging in Holy Family Parish. McKenna worked in the Marian Advancement Office and Student Life in college and has been on Camp Tekakwitha's summer staff since 2015.
