Camp Tekawitha's Environmental Stewardship Retreats provide spiritual, intellectual, and education growth through outdoor experiences.

In fall 2011 Camp Tekawith received a $2,800 green gift from Cellcom. The funds were used for equipment to create a mobile lab, including laptops and microscopes.

"Thanks to Cellcom's green gift, Camp Tekawitha can move from the conceptual to the experiential with outdoor learning," said Eric Blumreich, Diocesan Director of Camp Tekawith and Youth Ministry. "Digital mobile labs will give young people a hands-on opportunity to study the natural environment, record data and more deeply engage in their education."
