The annual Seminarian Collection benefiting men who have been called to the priesthood kicks off the weekend of Aug. 2-3, 2014. Every Catholic household will be contacted through the mail during the following week.

Pope Francis Shares Letter To Families

PopeFrancisPortraitPope Francis asks families for prayers for the upcoming Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on the family in a letter issued February 25. The synod is being convened  in Rome Oct. 5-19, 2014, to discuss pastoral challenges to the family in the context of evangelization.

Everyone is encouraged to read the letter and to keep Pope Francis in your prayers.
