Dealing with Domestic Violence
In addition to individual and family counseling, Catholic Charities offers multiple groups for men and women who struggle with domestic violence and who have abused others. These groups focus on learning non-violence ways to deal with conflict. Sessions are offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Catholic Charities’ two-phased program for men arrested for domestic violence is dedicated to raising awareness of the issue of domestic violence and helping to end this cycle of abuse in a way that respects the needs of each person.
Our trained and accredited counselors at our offices in Green Bay and Marinette offer an affordable program dedicated to ending abuse by addressing individual needs.
In addition, we offer:
- A fact sheet to separate the myths and facts about abuse
- A chart showing the impacts of abuse on the victim, the abuser and children
- A simple quiz that lets you see if you are an abuser.
