Need Post-Abortion Healing?
Has involvement in an abortion left you feeling loss, grief, guilt, worthlessness?
You are not alone. Such problems are common. (Click here for a list of warning signs)
Scientific studies show that abortion can be a traumatic experience, causing emotional and spiritual problems. Some feel immediate pain. For some who felt relief after an abortion problems may not surface until years later.
These problems affect not only the woman, but the father, grandparents, relatives, friends, and medical personnel.
Project Rachel offers help, healing
For more than 20 years Project Rachel has provided confidential, nonjudgmental healing for women and men affected by abortion. It helps you identify and express your feelings in a healthy, healing manner in an individual or a group setting. If you choose, a priest or clergy member may be involved in this process.
Project Rachel welcomes all, regardless of faith and income. Fees are based on ability to pay. Insurance may apply.
If abortion has affected you or someone you know has, please contact Catholic Charities for help at one of our offices.
