Catholics are called to Prayer, Education and Action!  Your voice could help save millions of lives!

hyde amendment graphic 250x250

The Hyde Amendment has protected Americans from funding abortion for 45 years. Now, powerful members of Congress want to take away this law that both Democrats and Republicans have supported for nearly half a century. Without it, billions of taxpayer dollars could go to abortion.

That means abortions would be cheaper, easier, and funded with our taxpayer dollars.

It is critically important for Catholics to send a strong message before Congress moves forward to impose taxpayer-funded abortion. Because of the incredibly high stakes Congress needs to hear from a massive number of people.

The primary goal is for millions of Catholics to sign the petition on NoTaxpayerAbortion.com.

Monica Meyer Respect Life Grant

The Monica Meyer grant in the Catholic Foundation helps parishes in the Diocese of Green Bay to plan and execute parish-based pro-life/anti-abortion activities and events. Grants are for up to $1,000.00 per parish per project.

Guidelines and Application

Monica Meyer Respect Life Grant Guidelines:

Grant funds are provided through the Monica Meyer Fund for Respect Life Projects of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Green Bay

  1.  This grant exists in the Catholic Foundation to assist parishes of the Diocese of Green Bay in planning and executing parish based pro-life/anti-abortion activities and events.

  2.  Funding under this grant is available up to, and including, $1,000.00 per parish per project. Priority will be given to those projects that incorporate principles of missionary discipleship and accompaniment, and/or raise the conscience of the community.  Projects will also be given priority if they will have a long term impact element, as opposed to a single event.

  3.  No project will be funded for more than three times consecutively.

  4.  A follow-up report will be expected from the project organizers to the Office of Pro-Life of the Diocese of Green Bay.  Project personnel are strongly urged to submit not only written reports, but also photos, samples of flyers and any news coverage.  A form will be sent out during the project year and all grant recipients will be required to submit the grant review, regardless of whether they plan to re-apply the following year.

For Inquiries concerning the grant, please contact: Sheila Re at 920-272-8283 or by email

Project Rachel is the Catholic Church's healing ministry to those who have been involved in abortion.

Project Rachel is a healing network of specially-trained caregivers that may include priests, deacons, sisters, lay staff, volunteers, mental health professionals, spiritual directors, mentors, chaplains, and medical personnel.

These individuals, often working as a team, provide direct care to women, men, and adolescents who have been touched by an abortion loss, enabling them to grieve, receive forgiveness, and find peace.

In addition to individualized counseling, some programs include support groups and retreats. Project Rachel programs can be found in about 150 Catholic dioceses in the United States, as well as in dioceses in other countries.
