2012-2013 Schedule

Preparing to live the Sacrament of Marriage is important. It is the cornerstone for Catholic family life.

The Diocese provides these sessions on relationship skills and healthy married sexuality to complement your parish's sacramental ministry. After you meet with your parish leadership and complete the FOCCUS Inventory at your parish, be sure to check and plan with your pastor or pastoral leader about which programs will help you better prepare for living the Sacrament of Marriage.

Natural Family Planning (NFP) is offered by trained instructors to complement the introductory info provided by your parish and the Diocese. See below

Cornerstone

"Cornerstone" is a one-day program (on Saturdays from from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at locations in the Green Bay, Appleton, Gresham, Sturgeon Bay and Lakewood areas. By attending you will:

  • Explore the relationship skills to nurture a lifelong commitment.
  • Hear presenatations from experienced married couples talking about the Theology of Marriage and living the Sacrament of Marriage.
  • Have one-to-one time to talk to each other.
Cost: $80 -- includes a continental breakfast and lunch for two, plus plenty of resource materials.

 

God's Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage

"God's Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage" is a one-day (Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Sacramentality program for the Diocese offered at locations in the Green Bay and Appleton areas. It offers a fresh, liberating vision of healthy marriage sexuality-- one that may be challenging but that will help you fully embrace God's glorious plan for you as a couple.

Please contact our office immediately at (920) 272-8291 if you are not able to attend your scheduled marriage prep class.

NOTE: Couples who re-schedule their date after registering will be charged a $10.00 service fee.

Natural Family Planning (NFP)

A brief overview of NFP is presented at the day-long sessions, and more individualized instruction is offered by trained certified instructors.  The Diocese has NFP instructors available who teach a variety of methods for you to learn the tools to effectively plan your family in accord with God's plan for marriage.  See the Diocesan NFP brochure or CLICK HERE for more information.
