 Preparing for a life of marriage is as important as preparing for your wedding day. To help you and your beloved start your new life together, we offer Marriage Prep and Engaged Encounter workshops.
MARRIAGE PREP is a one-day program (from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday) at locations in Green Bay and Appleton. By attending, you’ll:
- discover relationship skills needed to nurture a lifelong commitment
- learn the Eight Tasks of a Healthy Marriage Relationship
- hear a married couple talk about the Theology of Marriage and living the Sacrament of Marriage.
Cost: $75 (includes lunch for two and plenty of resource materials)
Marriage Prep is available in Spanish.
OR
ENGAGED ENCOUNTER is a weekend event (from 8 a.m. Saturday to 4 p.m. Sunday) led by three married couples and a priest that:
- affirms you as an individual
- offers tips on building and keeping your marriage strong
- puts it all within the context of society and your faith.
- includes time for private couple discussion and personal reflection.
AND
GOD'S PLAN FOR A JOY-FILLED MARRIAGE is an optional, one-day Marriage Preparation supplement (from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday) at locations in Green Bay and Appleton. It offers a refreshing, liberating vision of Marriage and sexuality that may be challenging but which will help you fully embrace God’s glorious plan for you as a couple.
Cost: $75 (includes continental breakfast and lunch)
