Priests & Pastoral Leaders (Vicar for Priests and Pastoral Leaders)

The 157 parishes of the Diocese of Green Bay are served by diocesan priests, religious order priests, and pastoral leaders, all appointed by the Bishop. Some priests currently serving in the Diocese are from other countries and are serving us as missionaries.

Priests and pastoral leaders work with the Bishop to care for the people they serve. Please pray for them, as they pray for us!

On behalf of the Bishop, the Vicar for Priests and Pastoral Leaders works with the priests and pastoral leaders to support and encourage them in their ministry.

Items of interest to priests and pastoral leaders, including registration forms, can be found in the menu to the left.

Pastoral Leader Brochure in English and Spanish

Pastoral Leaders serve as leaders of parishes unable to be served by a pastor. Pastoral Leaders are appointed by the Bishop, and animate the life of the parish community. This brochure briefly describes the role and qualifications of a Pastoral Leader. (Revised October 2015)
