The Red Mass marks the traditional opening of the judicial year in the U.S. During this Mass, all members of the legal community and those who hold public office, including judges, governmental officials, attorneys, legal staff, paralegals and law school faculty, are reminded of the importance of their vocations and ask for God's guidance in administering their office or position with wisdom, justice, fortitude, compassion and counsel.

The Mass will be followed by the annual dinner sponsored by the St. Thomas More Society of the Diocese of Green Bay. The dinner will be held at Riverside Ballroom located at 1560 Main Street in Green Bay. The Society is proud to announce that this year's after-dinner speaker will be The Most Reverend David A.
