Diocese of Green Bay to Host Spring Leadership Gathering on May 10

Diocese-Green-Bay-LogoGREEN BAY, Wis. (April 19, 2016) -- The Diocese of Green Bay is accepting registrations for the 2016 Spring Leadership Gathering on Tuesday, May 10, at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.

Spring Leadership Gathering is the first collaborative, interdepartmental event with something for every parish ministry. All are invited to this day of practical nuts and bolts sessions. We welcome priests, pastoral leaders, deacons, parish staffs, school administrators, religious education and ministry leaders, and all interested persons.

Bishop Ricken to Celebrate Mass, Speak

The day will include Mass celebrated by Bishop David L. Ricken, Bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay, as well as workshops, exhibits, lunch, roundtable sessions, and one keynote presentation. Bishop Ricken will present the morning keynote and provide a Pastoral Reflection on the next stages of his six-year plan for the diocese, Disciples on the Way.

Workshop topics include prayer, catechesis, charity, copyrights and licenses, evangelization, family, record keeping, property and casualty insurance, parish finances, leadership and volunteers, stewardship, human trafficking, Hispanic ministry, parish communications and more.

Spring Leadership Gathering is partially funded by the Bishop's Appeal and Catholic Foundation. The event is co-sponsored by the Diocese of Green Bay departments of Stewardship & Pastoral Services, Ministry Formation, Education, Facilities & Properties, New Evangelization, Living Justice, Chancellor's Office, Divine Worship, Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, and Communications.
