Projects Booklet Creates Awareness of Global Needs, Gives Concrete Ways to Help

Diocese of Green Bay LogoGREEN BAY, Wis. (October 13, 2016) -- World Mission Services, under the direction of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Green Bay, has released a new edition of the Projects Booklet. This booklet is made up of 25 short-term global mission projects each with a connection to the Diocese of Green Bay. Created over 25 years ago, thousands of people around the world have been helped and new projects continue to be added or updated each year.

Many World Mission Services programs are available and provide students, teachers, families and faith communities with a greater awareness of the needs of our world. Projects include building a school in Uganda, adopting a llama in Bolivia, feeding children in the Philippines, and many more. 100% of financial contributions to these projects go directly to the project.

'Forever Grateful'

"Thanks a lot for your kindness and support to the missions and Foundation for Children in Need. We are forever grateful to you. It is our plan in the coming two years to build a home that will accommodate 100 elderly, physically challenged and orphans. It will also be a training center. Please keep us in your prayers. With love, prayers and much gratitude." -- Foundation for Children in Need (Stories of Hope, Page 1 of the World Mission Services Projects Booklet)

"The Projects Booklet helps the poorest of the poor. We provide the tools for them to improve their lives. I love talking with those who give and those who receive. Everyone has a story, and the Projects Booklet allows us to share these with others," said Cindy St. Aubin, World Missions Coordinator for the Catholic Foundation. "The diverse projects illustrate that whether you have $1 or $100, you can impact the lives of others."
