Diocese of Green Bay to Host Leadership Convocation on Oct. 27

Diocese-Green-Bay-LogoGREEN BAY, Wis. (Oct. 20, 2016) -- The Diocese of Green Bay is accepting registrations for the 2016 Leadership Convocation on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.

The Leadership Convocation will include Mass celebrated by Bishop David L. Ricken, as well as several workshops, exhibits, lunch and two keynote presentations. Sr. Madge Karecki, SSJ-TOSF, Assistant National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies, will present the morning keynote titled "Missionary Discipleship: A Way of Life," and Bishop Christopher J. Coyne, Bishop of Burlington, Vermont, will present the afternoon keynote titled "Digital Discipleship."

Workshop Topics Include Prayer, Catechesis, Evangelization

Workshop topics include prayer, catechesis, evangelization, charity, family, young adult ministry, and stewardship. All are welcome, including priests, pastoral leaders, deacons, ministerial staff, education staff, committee members and interested persons.

The Leadership Convocation is partially funded by the Bishop's Appeal and Catholic Foundation. The event is co-sponsored by the Diocese of Green Bay departments of Stewardship & Pastoral Services, Ministry Formation, Education, New Evangelization, Living Justice, Divine Worship, and Communications.
