Join the Girlfriends in God team to reflect on the women of Holy Week: Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Salome, Joanna -- the ones last at the cross and first to the tomb. We too are called to change the world by our witness to the Risen Christ. Come share in the faith and strength of the women of Holy Week so that you can enter into Easter saying "I have seen the Lord!"

Brings Together Women of All Ages

Girlfriends in God brings together women of all ages from across the Diocese of Green Bay and pampers them physically and spiritually, encouraging them to share their own faith journeys and listen to the experience and wisdom gained from other women's experiences of faith. The Girlfriends in God events combine faith, good food and laughter, giving busy women the opportunity to find their common ground as Girlfriends in God.

This evening of reflection encourages women to reflect upon their own journey as a child of God and is open to girlfriends ages 14 and up. The cost of this year's gathering is $15, which includes light refreshments, a fabulous gift and talks from Deborah Gretzinger, Jane Angha and Sr. Laura Zelten. There will be music and prayer throughout the evening. Women are asked to bring a new or gently used purse or personal hygiene item that that will be used in creating bags for homeless women or women in shelters. This will benefit the non-profit ministry "Handbags for Hope." All are welcome to attend, regardless of ability to pay.
