What is your favorite Church song used at Mass? "Make of Our Hands a Throne."
What do you like to do for fun? I like to hike, play basketball, read, listen to music, and follow the Packers.
What do you remember most about First Communion? Describe the experience. I remember being well prepared to make a good confession beforehand and to welcome our Lord into my heart. I also recall being told to gently bite my tongue before receiving our Lord so that the host would not stick to the top of my mouth. I have a black and white photo of our class looking like angels, very nicely dressed, with all of our hands folded in a praying position.
What aspect of priestly ministry appeals to you most? I love to work one on one with people, praying with them, and together drawing closer to our Lord.
What is your favorite movie and why? "Chariots of Fire." This 1981 true story about two Olympic runners and their motivations for a gold medal captures the desire for God and excellence that we have within ourselves.
Who is your favorite band/artist and why? James Taylor. His songs capture the beauty and simplicity of life.
What should people ask God to help you with? In other words, how should they pray for you? My deepest goal is to love God and serve the people of God. Please pray that I might learn to receive the grace of God more completely and be purified of selfish motives so that I can give myself more fully to others. |
