What is the best aspect of being at a seminary? I enjoy having the opportunity to spend this time conforming my life to Christ with guys from all around the country who are seeking to do the same in the context of discerning a call to the priesthood.
What do you like to do for recreation? I enjoy running, swimming, biking, ultimate Frisbee and just hanging out.
Have you had any pets in your lifetime? We had a Dalmatian named Genevieve when I was really little, then a Boston Terrier named Wilbe, and now we have a Pug named Zeke.
What do you remember most about your Confirmation? The thing I remember most about my Confirmation is sitting in the basement of St. Pius X and being asked the question: "Do you really want to be confirmed, not because your parents want you to be, but because you want to be?" I remember that I knew the answer was yes and it was a moment in which I took a large step. I really had to take ownership of my faith and this was really the first of many steps that has led to where I am now.
What is your favorite poem? "The Iliad," by Homer, or "Do not Go Gentle Into that Good Night," by Dylan Thomas. I chose these because life is a gift from God with which we are intended to do something great.
What was one of the best days of your life thus far? Other then when the Packers won their fourth Super Bowl (with fifteen players on injured reserve), any day with good coffee, and good people to share it with is a great day.
Which saint should people ask to intercede for your vocation? Our Lady of Guadalupe because it was Our Lady of Guadalupe who guided me into pursuing this vocation and has helped me continue pursuing it. |
