Camp Tekawitha Camp Tekawitha
A Catholic Youth Camp
for Children of all Faiths

Camp Tekawitha provides a positive summer experience where Christian ideals are integrated into daily activities. In addition to our new chapel, camp facilities include a main lodge, a recreation hall with a stage and large stone fireplace, craft area, kitchen, spacious dining room, 8 sleeping cabins, modern shower building, trading post, health care and office. Two qualified counselors are assigned to each cabin and ensure that your children have the chance to explore the world around them. Children are arranged in cabins according to gender and age.

Loon lake is clear and sandy, perfect for recreation. Campers enjoy swimming, canoeing, tennis, archery and drama. All campers are tested for swimming ability; sailing and canoeing instructions are part of the program. Kayaking and paddle boating add to the excitement. There's plenty to do indoors, too! Our staff conducts a variety of arts and crafts and special programs. The campers add the enthusiasm and that's how the fun starts.
