Stewardship as a Way of Life
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the Harvest to send out laborers for his harvest." – Matthew 9:37-38
At St. John Parish in Antigo, the harvest has been abundant, and the number of laborers has increased dramatically since Stewardship as A Way of Life was introduced a few years ago.
"Stewardship has changed my life... the best way to say it would be that every minute counts. It’s not what am I going to do it’s ‘I know what I can do.’ It’s appreciating the time that you have, the talent that you have…" said Lynne Henricks.
With the help of training and materials from the diocesan Stewardship and Pastoral Services Department, St. John Parish has grown in stewardship. St. John Parish has experienced a new thrust, a new energy and an emphasis in prayer, service and sharing.
