It's especially important to speak up for rights
of the unborn, Bishop says at Break Away

Reach out to others, one-by-one, to witness to our need to respect all life, from conception until natural death, Bishop David Ricken said at a special young adult evening of live music and testimonies at St. Norbert College in De Pere.

It's especially important, he said, to speak up for the unborn and to bring the message of God’s mercy to those who have had an abortion, Bishop Ricken said.

Break Away was sponsored by the Diocese of Green Bay Respect Life Office and Adult Faith Formation, SNC Campus H.E.R.O., Catholic Youth Expeditions, and Fr. Jim Baraniak, pastor of Old St. Joe's and St. Norbert College.

Purpose of the event was to increase awareness of how each person is sacred, has great dignity, and is called to greatness to live life to the full in Christ.
