How Do I Know?
Is God be calling you to the priesthood?
Think and pray about these questions:
Do I have a strong, personal faith in Jesus Christ and his Bride the Church?
Do I love people?
Do I love the Eucharist and the sacraments of the Church?
Do I have the desire to help people know God's love for them?
Do I have a persistent inner feeling that God may want me to do this?
Am I physically and emotionally healthy?
Do I have an enthusiasm for learning and studying?
Do others support me in this direction?
Am I active in my parish?
Do I have the gifts to serve the Church in leadership?
With the help of God, could I possibly be called to a celibate life?
Am I willing to make a sacrifice for the good of others?
What Should I Do Now?
As Vocations Director, I would love to talk to you if you are considering responding to God's call to the priesthood.
