God calls all baptized Christians to transform the world. For some Catholics this means working for the Church part-time or full-time as lay ecclesial ministers or commissioned ministers serving as pastoral associates and pastoral ministers, liturgists, religious educators, youth ministry leaders or parish business managers. For others, it’s as a deacon. Many Catholics fulfill special roles of service in their parish as volunteers.
Regardless of the role, formation is needed to serve God and the Church most effectively. |
