Camp Tekawitha Retreat and Conference Center
There have been a few changes since we welcomed our first group of young ladies in 1926. Camp is co-ed. Rustic buildings have been updated to allow for year round use. Most campers don’t have to use train service to travel to camp. But, we still rest on a foundation of Faith, Friends and Fun.
Visitors to Camp Tekawitha experience the presence of God in a beautiful natural setting. Relationships flourish at camp through participation in programs and simply by having the time to relax, listen and share with others.

Cemeteries
Catholic cemeteries in the Diocese of Green Bay -- both parish and diocesan -- help families care for their deceased loved ones and perform one of the seven corporal works of mercy: Burying the dead. For Catholic Cemeteries, assisting families in their time of need, burying the deceased and caring for their resting places is a sacred religious function whose origins go back to the early Church.

Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help™
On Oct. 9, 1859, Adele Brice, a young Belgian woman said the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to her at Champion in Brown County, northeast of Green Bay. She said Mary asked her to teach religion to children. Soon, her father built a chapel on the site and Adele started a school and a community of women to teach in it.
On Dec. 8, 2010, Bishop David Ricken of Green Bay announced that he officially approved the Marian apparitions at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help™ . The announcement was made at the Shrine during a special Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
