Diocesan-Visioning-Process-blueGoal – To engage the entire Church of Green Bay in a process of prayerful reflection on:
  • When we have been at our best (Discovery Phase)
  • Then discern or imagine what God might be asking us to become (Dream Phase)
  • Leading to a Diocesan Summit where our discoveries and dreams would lead to the creation of a pastoral vision for the diocese (Design and Destiny Phases).

Parish Appreciative Inquiry focus groups

As part of the Diocesan Visioning process every parish is participating in a series of focus groups using a technique called Appreciative Inquiry. This is a process of prayerful reflection asking when we have been at our best or seen the hands of God in action (discovery), and then discern or imagine what God might be asking us to become (dreaming).

Each parish has until Dec. 8 to complete a Parish Discovery and Dreaming Report using one of the listening models outlined in the Discovery and Dream Parish Leadership Resource Book pdf_button
