High School March for Life

High School March for Life

Chicago | Washington, DC

We are offering two opportunities to March for Life in 2017. The first is March for Life Chicago on Sunday, January 15th at the Federal Plaza, 50 W. Adams Street. People of diverse ethnic, social, and religious backgrounds from across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana march together in hope and love to defend and protect all human life. A bus from the Diocese will participate in the largest pro-life event in the Midwest.

The second is to the annual March for Life in Washington, which engages teens in opportunities to respect each and every life from conception to natural death. During the pilgrimage, students have the opportunity to walk in the national March to the Supreme Court building, pray for the protection of all life, serve at a food pantry and an elderly care home run by the Little Sisters of the Poor, tour the history and culture of our nation's capital, and grow in fellowship with other youth from the Diocese. Motor coach will leave from Appleton.

"Dear young people, please, don't be observers of life, but get involved. Jesus did not remain an observer, but he immersed himself. Don't be observers, but immerse yourself in the reality of life, as Jesus did."

- Pope Francis -
