What is spiritual direction?
Spiritual direction is first and foremost a way for you to grow closer to God. Since God communicates with each person uniquely, it often helps to have another person to talk with about how you experience God. Spiritual direction provides an opportunity to notice, reflect, discern, and discover where God is present in the life of each person.
Finding a spiritual director you are comfortable with is a critical part of the discernment process. There are many avenues for spiritual direction In the Diocese of Green Bay. Many of our retreat houses, religious communities, and parishes have spiritual directors who can work with you.
