Annual Seminarian Collection to Help Future Priests Kicks Off Aug. 1-2

(July 28, 2015) -- The annual Seminarian Collection will kick off this weekend, Aug. 1-2, and every Catholic household will be contacted through the mail during the following week. This collection benefits men who have been called to the priesthood. Families who would like to make a gift today can do so online at www.catholicfoundationgb.org/give. Seminarians will visit parishes throughout the month of August to ask for support through this important collection.

Catholic Charities Announces $1 Million Hole-in-One Prize for June 24 Golf Outing

Senate Approves Pain-capable Unborn Child Protection Act

Wisconsin-Catholic-Conference-logoMADISON, Wis. (June 11, 2015) -- On June 9, the Wisconsin State Senate passed Senate Bill 179, known as the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. SB 179 prohibits abortions at and after 20 weeks so as to spare these children the pain of being dismembered in the womb by means of a dilation and evacuation (D&E) abortion.
