New Director of Human Resources for the Diocese of Green Bay

coat-of-armsGREEN BAY, Wis. (Aug. 5, 2013) -- It is with great pleasure that the Diocese of Green Bay announces the appointment of Jennifer Buechel as Director of Human Resources with St. Luke Benefit and Insurance Services Corporation of the Diocese of Green Bay, effective July 29, 2013.

In her role as Director of Human Resources, Buechel will provide services that promote a work environment characterized by fair treatment of employees, open communication, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect. Buechel will work with department staff to coordinate the compensation and benefits for the diocese, ensure employment policies and practices are fair and equitable and that they comply with state and federal employment laws. She will also have responsibility for the recruitment of diocesan campus employees.

With Diocese Since 2010

A native of De Pere, Buechel holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Before her appointment as Director of Human Resources, Buechel served as Employee Relations Coordinator in human resources for the Diocese since 2010. Prior to joining the diocese, Buechel worked in management positions for Cellcom Green Bay Marathon, Nsight Telservices, and Schneider National.

"I've been privileged to work for our diocese over the last three years. It's been humbling to work with those who are so steeped in our faith and serve our parishioners and communities," said Buechel. "I look forward to providing employment and benefit services to all employees within our parishes, schools and other locations, so that they can focus on their ministry to others within our diocese."
