Journey of Hope

Journey of Hope began in 2011 as a small group of people who had experienced childhood sexual abuse at the hands of clergy, family members, others known to them, or had family members who had experienced abuse. We desire to walk together in healing and recovery. Initial efforts of Journey of Hope were to lead prayer services at local parishes praying for healing while focused on different topics like gratitude, forgiveness and hope. Out of these experiences developed an annual day of reflection which began in 2016. We are now contemplating starting a group to meet once a month for prayer and mutual support.

Journey of Hope is a group that welcomes all men and women who believe their lives have been affected by the reality of childhood sexual abuse. Our goal is to journey together in recovery from the effects of sexual abuse and to support one another in life, faith and healthy relationships.
