For a reclaiming of Sunday as the Lord's Day: May we recognize the importance of Sunday in our lives and the life of our faith community, making it a prioritized time for worship, family, rest, and charity. We pray to the Lord:
For the conversion of sinners: May the Spirit stir up in our hearts an aversion to sin and may our prayer help all find a way to return to Christ and his Church. We pray to the Lord:
For a culture of vocations in our diocese: May we have a spirit of courage and love to call forth and encourage the young men and women of our diocese to discern a life of priesthood or religious life and nurture their YES to God's call through our prayer and support. We pray to the Lord:
For the living out of the Corporal Works of Mercy: May we, nourished by the Eucharist, lead lives of charity and service so as to be a Church that goes out joyfully to encounter Christ in all people, most especially in the poor, marginalized, and vulnerable. We pray to the Lord:
For the pouring out of the Holy Spirit in a new and abundant way: May the Holy Spirit be strengthened and renewed in us so that we may be a source of hope for the world to renew all believers to further the mission of Jesus and his Church. We pray to the Lord:
For the United States of America, as we celebrate 250 years as a nation: In thanksgiving for the blessings of our history and those who forged it and for the challenge that lies ahead of what we have yet to achieve, with the Lord's help, we may truly live as one nation under God. We pray to the Lord:
For faithful missionary discipleship: May God help us recognize and fully embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit to inspire us to be faithful missionary disciples striving to lead all people to the Kingdom of God. We pray to the Lord:
For a return to Mass: May the journey of those which has led them away from Mass now lead them once again to discover God's love for them, celebrated in the Eucharist. We pray to the Lord:
For all those entrusted with the information of children in the faith: May they heed the words of our Lady to teach them what they should know for salvation, and may those formed become living witness of the gift of faith they have received. We pray to the Lord:
For the strengthening of marriage and family life: May the example of the Holy Family strengthen married couples to live and love faithfully, and may strong and prayer-filled families give witness to God's faithfulness and be the foundation for the flourishing of society. We pray to the Lord:
For lasting peace and an end to all violence: May the Prince of Peace turn hearts away from the horror of violence, bring and end to warfare in war-torn areas of the world, and prompt leaders of all nations and all people to afford all those afflicted by fear and violence, lives of peace and joy. We pray to the Lord:
