Hmong/Lao Liturgies minister to the Catholic Hmong of our Diocese -- a minority of a minority. The ministry consists primarily of celebrating bilingual Masses with the two communities in the Appleton and Green Bay areas. Spoken parts of the Mass proper to the priest are done in English, while the congregational parts are chanted or sung in Hmong.
The Green Bay community celebrates the first and third Sundays of each month at the Quad Parishes in Green Bay, (920) 496-2160.
The Appleton community celebrates during regular mass hours at St. Bernard Parish, 1617 W Pine St., Appleton, (920) 739-0331.
